IN 2006, WE CELEBRATED OUR TENTH YEAR IN BRINGING CHILDREN TO THE UK FOR RESPITE CARE!
The PINXTON & EAST DERBYSHIRE LINK was itself formed in 1996. Following the success of our first group of children in Summer 1996, children have been visiting the area for a convalescing break each summer ever since.
The link are very committed volunteers. They raise funds throughout the year to bring Chernobyl children to the UK each summer.
In 2005, the total group size was 30 - for the very first time! Following on from this achievement.
In 2006 this was increased to 34 and Has been a rewarding year for everyone involved.
If you'd like to be a part of this, visit our 'What you can do' section then email us for more information!
The PINXTON & EAST DERBYSHIRE link strive to ensure that visits are free of charge to the children. This is only possible with the wonderful support of our Link friends and sponsors.
Many many thanks to you all.
